Attention children of the 1980s - Hot Wheels just re-released a Sto & Go playset. Appears to be an updated version of the 1983 City playset with some of the Service Center features. Plastic is the more flimsy modern stuff, but seems like it will hold up well. One cool new feature is there are a bunch of places where you can attach Hot Wheels tracks. I picked it up (for the kids, of course) for $27 at Target.

They also have some old cars with the retro packaging. Twin Mill, Toyota pickup, and a few more I forgot.

I remember having the original, original version. And there was one that was a construction site IIRC.

Yeah I had the construction site one - had a working tipper car and crane. Apparently there is a train one as well but I’ve not seen it.

I’ve heard of the train one, but never saw one. And I mean the Original. No pop ups, just the carrying handle sign and a couple of garages. I am old as dirt.

I actually had the train one. Probably still do, actually. I had that and the Hot Wheels City playset and I imagine they're both in my mother's attic somewhere.
